New Clothes, Bright Smiles

Binodpur, South 24 Parganas

Children holding up new clothes they received at a distribution

Festive clothes shared with children and elders at a community celebration brought warmth and a little extra joy to many families.

Festivals are a time for new clothes, but for many families in our villages that is simply not possible.

At our festive distribution, young girls tried on colourful new frocks, boys received shirts, and elderly women were given new saris on stage under the society's banner.

Seeing children run back to their parents to show off their new clothes is one of the happiest moments of our year.

This story is part of our Seasonal & Emergency Relief programme.
