Our home. Our shared responsibility.
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
Why it matters.
The Sundarbans are our home, and caring for them is the shared responsibility of everyone who lives here.
We bring people together for national days, community meetings and awareness programmes, and encourage care for the mangroves, rivers and villages around us.
What we do
- Celebrating Independence Day and Republic Day with the village
- Community meetings and self-help group discussions
- Awareness on cleanliness, mangroves and the environment
- Cultural programmes that bring generations together
